Terms of Service

The basics that apply when you have us repair a device or buy from us.

Last updated: May 2026. This is a general template provided as a starting point — please review it (and have it checked) so it matches how you actually operate.

Estimates & approval

We provide an up-front estimate before beginning work. Final pricing may change if additional issues are found during diagnosis; we'll let you know and get your approval before doing extra work.

Diagnostics

For obvious, visible issues — a cracked screen, bad charge port, failing battery, and the like — we give you an up-front estimate at no charge. For problems whose cause isn't clear and that need hands-on diagnosis to identify, we charge a $50 diagnostic fee, which we'll always tell you about before we begin. If you move forward with the repair, that $50 is applied toward your repair cost. If a device can't be repaired or isn't worth repairing, we'll tell you honestly and discuss your options.

Back up your data

Please back up your device before any service. We take care with your device, but we are not responsible for loss of data that occurs during repair. We access only what's necessary to complete the work.

Parts & workmanship

We use quality parts and stand behind our work. Warranty terms vary by repair and part — ask your technician about the warranty that applies to your specific service when you drop off your device.

Payment

Payment is due when your repair is complete or at the time of purchase. We accept major cards and other methods available in store.

Device pickup

Please pick up your device promptly once we notify you it's ready. Contact us if you need to arrange a later pickup.

Pricing & availability

Prices, promotions, and inventory can change and may vary by device model. The teacher/student discount requires a valid school ID and applies in store.
